Project Setup

Version Operations

# Display current version
sley show

# Bump versions

sley bump auto             # Smart bump: strips pre-release or bumps patch

# Set version manually
sley set 2.0.0 --pre beta  # 1.3.0 -> 2.0.0-beta

Pre-release Versions

# Increment pre-release counter
sley bump pre              # 2.0.0-beta -> 2.0.0-beta.1
sley bump pre              # 2.0.0-beta.1 -> 2.0.0-beta.2

# Switch pre-release label
sley bump pre --label rc   # 2.0.0-beta.2 -> 2.0.0-rc.1

# Release to stable

Git Integration

# Create and push git tag
sley tag create --push

Validation

TIP

sley works out-of-the-box with sensible defaults. Create a .sley.yaml only when you need to customize behavior.
